Alphabet shares rose 1.57% outperforming market despite reports the US Department of Justice is seeking an order that would require Google to sell its popular Chrome browser to another party, Microsoft shares added 0.49% on Tuesday.

The Dollar strengthening has resumed today . The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, ended 0.08% lower on Tuesday.
Both EUR/USD and GBP/USD ended flat yesterday while Germany’s central bank said the outlook for the country’s economic output remained “weak”. USD/JPY ended virtually unchanged while AUD/USD slowed its climbing on Tuesday with both the yen and Australian dollar lower still against the Greenback currently.

Futures on three main US stock indexes are higher currently with the yield on benchmark 10-year US notes up at 4.402%. Stock indexes ended mixed on Tuesday as three main stock benchmarks recorded daily returns in a range from -0.3% to 1.04% led by tech shares ahead of Nvidia’s quarterly results report today after markets close.
European stock indexes are up currently after closing lower on Tuesday with bank shares leading losses. Asian indexes futures are mostly rising today with Australia’s All Ordinaries ASX 200 Index defying the trend while the People's Bank of China held benchmark lending rates steady as widely expected.

Brent is edging higher currently. Prices extended gains yesterday while Equinor, international energy company headquartered in Norway, said it had partially restarted the Johan Sverdrup oilfield in Norway, the biggest oilfield in Western Europe. The US oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose 0.3% and is higher currently. Brent gained 0.2% to $73.43 a barrel on Tuesday.
